What is the meaning of a court-admissible paternity test?
If you want to use the results of a paternity test in court, proof of the identity of each test participant and the chain of custody of the collected samples must be provided by a witness. We offer a version of our home paternity test that qualifies as court-admissible and is accredited by the American Association of Blood Banks.
This option is recommended if you believe you will need to use the test results in a court case. The requirement for this test is that the collection and handling of the samples must be overseen by a witness. Instructions and examples of documents are included with the test kit. Provided that instructions are followed correctly, the test results will be court-admissible (see the disclaimer below).

Disclaimer: We cannot guarantee that the results of any test performed with our kit will be accepted by a judge as qualified evidence, due to the differences in the laws of your state and courts. However, if the test is completed correctly according to instructions and the witness is available to testify, the results should be court-admissible. If you are concerned about the admissibility of your test, we recommend that you consult your attorney.
