What is the difference between naturally and human-induced contaminants?
Natural contaminants pass through the soil or rocks and contain magnesium or calcium. On the other hand, human-induced contaminants come from activities on the land that can affect the groundwater quality. Hazardous wastes, underground storage tanks, animal or human waste, household cleaners, pesticides, and fertilizers are the most common pollutants that can infect our drinking water.
