What are the general side effects of Ativan use/abuse?
Ativan is very addictive and can cause psychological and physical dependence. There are many side effects of Ativan abuse, they include clumsiness, dizziness, sleepiness, unsteadiness, weakness, amnesia, insomnia, agitation, disorientation, depression, headache, visual problems, nausea, abdominal discomfort, drowsiness, blurred vision, tachycardia, and disinhibition. Further, anterograde amnesia has been frequently reported after administration of Ativan and appears to be dose-related.
