I am on a hormone replacement therapy for last few months. Can it affect my CRP Test results?
Yes, post-menopausal women on hormone replacement therapy are known to have a higher-than-normal CRP level. So you can expect some pseudo-increase in CRP levels in your test report. However, as far as postmenopausal condition is concerned, there is no particularly established association amongst various age groups and subsequent inflammatory responses.
