Can I take vitamins with food, or do I need to take them on an empty stomach?
For the most part, it probably doesn't matter if you take dietary supplements with food or without. However, B Complex vitamins will often cause some mild nausea. This may be avoided by taking the B Complex vitamins with a light meal. A heavy greasy meal may interfere with absorption, so keep it light. The exceptions to this are B12 and folic acid which should be taken on an empty stomach.
