Can fertility drugs result in a false positive?

Only fertility drugs that contain hCG (Profasi, Pregnyl, Novarel, etc.) can cause a false positive. You may still take a pregnancy test, but it is advised that you wait for at least 7 to 14 days after the last injection to ensure that the drugs are out of your system.
