Are there any home based testing kits available for this test?

Yes. There are several home based test kits available in the market with easy to use and handle instructions. Some of the kits are based on the principle of agglutination for the qualitative and semi-quantitative estimation of CRP in human serum. These kits are able to detect CRP levels of in the range of 5-10mg/L. These kits are able to produce the results with in 2-3 minutes but the results obtained by such kits are not very precise when compared to the laboratory results.
