Recently, reserchers have identified some regions in the haplotype of Paisas of Coloumbia which suggests a genetic tinge to the Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). It has been reported that a common variant of Latrotrophin 3 (LPHN3) gene may confer susceptibility to Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. This variant may lead to development of confirmatory diagnostic technology. Further research, however, is required befor anything for this sort comes out for a disease which many believe "does not even exist"!
