ADHD is known to have contentious diagnosis. What are the various critisims?
The ADHD diagnosis has been questioned on many fronts. Some people believe that ADHD is a divergent or normal-variant human behavior emphasizing that human behaviour is immensely variable and "ADHD" may simply represent one part of this behavioral spectrum. Such critics sometimes allege that ADHD is not actually a discrete condition and believe that there is no point in treating it with drugs. However, research is foregrounding the genetic basis of ADHD with a possible Latrotrophin 3 (LPHN3) gene based susceptibility.
